Ragul Balaji Ravichandran is an experienced Lead Data Engineer with a passion for problem-solving. Ragul has a strong background in data engineering and has worked with a variety of technologies including Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Docker, Python, Java, Scala, SQL, AWS, Ansible, AI, Apache Airflow, Data Warehouse, CI/CD, test, ML, Spring Boot, Spring, Jenkins, Mobile, and Apache Hive. Before joining xpressbees, Ragul worked at Societe Generale as a Specialist SE - Data Engineer. In this role, he designed and built data pipelines for the compliance data lake as part of the CARMA program, which is responsible for the collection and analysis of compliance data of the bank. Prior to that, he worked at Agilysys as a Senior Software Analyst where he worked on building real-time analytics for their product, rguest Analyze, which provides business analytics for hotels, restaurants, and resorts. Ragul also made the product multi-tenant, which brought cost savings and simplified release management. Ragul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from RMK Engineering College and completed his Higher Secondary education in Computer Science from Vidyaa Vikas Higher Secondary School. He has a total of 8.53 years of relevant experience in the field of data engineering and software development. Ragul is a skilled data engineer with a proven track record of building analytics applications and data pipelines.
